Let’s bring them boys out! Just wanted to post this picture of my guy friends charmingly wearing their tuxes and not looking like penguins at all! Don’t they look adorbs though? This was at Brye Maligon’s 18th Debut last September 6 at the Quest Hotel, Cebu City. Btw, I am sorry for not posting about that particular event but I will soon. I got busy with schoolwork and other school-related things that I had to do. Sucks being in the medical field because it’s so hectic! I might just do a throwback post on that later this week or next week or who knows when. It’s gonna be a long long post since a lot of things happened that day and I have a whole lot of pictures to share.

In case you guys are wondering who the guys in the picture are, well you have to wait until my guy files blog post! I actually have a twofie with each and everyone of them and with other guys as well so you better watch out! It’s gonna be some serious eye candy for ya’ll.

So goodevening and I am sorry for being idle again. I know I have said this line a million times but it’s not my fault my course has a lot of pre-requisites and other bullshits. Well, I just have to live with it because I’m not even halfway there to my dream of becoming a Physical Therapist. Bye!

Foodtrip last night at the dormitory.

We didn’t have a class yesterday as expected. We were just there in the room, waiting until our class president came in and gave us library work on The Reproductive System and whatnots. Anyway, we then decided to go to Ayala after that since it was still so early and no one wanted to go home yet. I went with my barkada and the six of us were squished inside of Marvi’s Mitsubishi Mirage. Kurt drove the car since he was the biggest and he wanted to drive anyway so Marvi let him. Louie was off somewhere with his other friends that’s why he was MIA yesterday. Hay. I think we are really just his second choice maybe because we aren’t cool enough for his subaru-sports-car-driving reputation. Oops.

My friend Brye, who is a girl by the way, bought us tickets to ‘The Gifted’ and since I already watched that one before with my friend Krista, it was already my second time watching. We also got fries from Potato Corner because I was craving for frenchies and that was my opportunity to eat unhealthy. Haha

After the movie, we decided to roam around the mall and stuff. I got a Caramel Machiatto at Starbucks because it was raining and it was freezing so a hot beverage like that otta do the trick. I regretted it afterwards though since my head started to get heavy and I felt sick. Ugh.

Jacky then texted us that we were gonna have a little smorgasbord at their room later that night since her Med student roommate just finished their finals. She bought most of the food like the pizza and the krispy kreme donuts. So to return the favor, we bought KFC chicken.

I was so full last night I swear. I ate two slices of pizza, three corn muffins, three KK donuts and a chicken thigh. My stomach practically burst last night. Haha. Just kidding but seriously, I ate a lot. Talk about foodgasm right there!

We also played card games afterwards. I taught the, the game ‘BullShit’. It’s a card game where you have to bluff or you have to lie to win. Something like that. Jacky was the sore loser! Oops. And then we also had ghost stories and talks about traditions and cultures and blah.

Ersao, Mandaue City Times Square
With Kuya Jake and Ate Regina. So hey guys. It is Osmena Day here in Cebu therefore it is a holiday and since it is a holiday we have no classes! I’m supposed to be ecstatic right but honestly, I wasn’t. I was just too bored today. I woke up at around noon and then decided to eat oatmeal and read my Human Anatomy book. I then figured, ‘Hey I have an assignment in Chemistry’ and I did that too. It only took me like 10 minutes. It was easy. It was just balancing equations and stuff like that. I still have to rewrite it though.

At around three in the afternoon, I seriosly didn’t know what to do with my life anymore so I decided to take a bath and go to SM City Cebu. I just roamed around and I bought groceries at the SM Supermarket and stopped by Healthy Options afterwards. By the way, I had mooshi for my snack! It was really really good. It had kiwi and frozen blueberries and granola among others. It was like a fresh bowl of cereal but instead of milk, green smoothie fills in the gap. Yumm. You guys should definitely try their Mooshi-in-a-bowl And then we ate dinner at Ersao in City Times Square. As you can see, I have a picture of us above. I was kinda thirdwheeling. Oops. I texted my cousin Jake that I wanted to go on a foodtrip because I was so bored. Hence, they picked me up and they brought me to MCTS.

We had dumplings, spicy chicken and pork chao fan. It was damn good. For just five hundred pesos, it was good Taiwanese food. I didn’t order their milk tea though but they said it’s good. Maybe next time I’ll get that if ever me and my friends decide to eat there.

Anyway, that is my update for today. I have been MIA and I am sorry but I think I will be bomabarding your timelines with post tonight or tomorrow night since I have a lot of things to blog about. Hihi. Stay safe guys and God bless!

I just do.

I feel so lonely
and I feel so scared
I don’t know why but I just do
I want to cry
and I want to weep
I don’t know why but I just want to

A feeling deep inside
And a feeling so stromg
I don’t know why but it pains me
A hurt so bad
And a hurt so cruel
I don’t why but it kills me

I feel so worthless
And I feel so troubled
I don’t know why but I think I’m a wreck
I feel so unappreciated
And I feel so unimportant
I don’t know why but I think I’m a mess

Depression creeping in
And depression taking over
I don’t know why but it consumes me
A sadness I can’t explain
And a sadness I can’t contain
I don’t know why it breaks me. 😣😢💔

I have been lost into muffled thoughts and murky letters for the past few days hence I didn’t get to update my blog. So here I am once again, just sitting down and yes, finally, I am blogging on my laptop because my iPad is somewhere in my Aunt’s room and i am too tired to go and get it.

So what have I been up to for the past few days?

Well, I really did nothing exciting. I just had a Switched At Birth Marathon and watched a couple of movies and downloaded some too. I am in our place in Borongan Eastern Samar by the way. I was here since Thursday. Did I forget to mention that on my previous blog posts? Hmm. Well, being home means having a broadband that you could actually rely on! Yes! My mobile wi-fi just doesn’t do the cut in Cebu. It’s okay but I could not really download movies and songs and albums with ease. Especially if you have that user blah agreement by Globe. It sucks!

I'm just writing this little update about me because I am bored and I took it as an opportunity to just free my mind and type random things like pizza, popcorn and ice cream. Speaking of, I think I’m ice cream overdosed or something. I have been eating ice cream since yesterday and I still want more! I am such an ice cream addict, I can’t even. Who else are ice cream addicts like me? Let us unite and share our love for this yummy treat filled with sugar and dairy and calories! Yumyumyum

Heartache, 0828140909

Hear me out, once more
Ease the pain, I beg you
Answer me, say what’s true
Rid me of this trouble
Teach me to move on
Amuse me, without romance
Call me, just a friend
Hold me, not so tight then
Erase me from your heart

✈️✈️✈️

Waiting

Looking

Searching

You might just

Pop out

Somewhere

I hear

My heart break

I hear it ache

Realizing

You’re not there

I scan

The room filled

With people

Black, white

Filipinos in disarray

When will I

Stop hoping

For a miracle

To finally happen

When will I

Stop wishing

To see your face

Even for just

A second

A jiffy

That maybe

One day

In this airport

I might find

You again.

Anonymous asked: Hi, we go to the same university hehe you're my new inspiration now to lose weight hahaha

What?! You go to CDU too? Cool. Magpakilala ka naman Anon sige na. Hahaha. What year ka ba? :)

University Run 2014, August 24!
With my baes at the finish line. We didn’t finish the race together though we ran the same six kilometer distance. I went ahead because I decided to run alone. And with that, I got to land 4th place in the 6k Student Category Women! Yaaaay. It was so unexpected. I’ll post a separate blog post about my win and my journey from thick to thin in a span of a year. Yesyes.

Anyway, I woke up really early that Sunday and I slept very late so i only had like 4 hours of sleep. My roomate and I got ready and everything and we went downstairs and off to school. There were already a lot of people present. Earlybirds flocking their wings in every corner.

Our guntime was at 5am and we got there before that. We, the guys in the picture above, went to the starting line and waited. Some of our PE Faculty were up on the stage doing warm-ups. I didn’t really follow their cray dance moves and I was just there standing awkwardly amidst the crowd of writhing bodies dancing to zumba. Oops.

After zumba, the countdown began. It felt like new year that time since everyone was like 10… 9… 8… 7…. And well you know the rest.

The run finally started and it was a semi-stampede with all the students running and walking to get ahead. I was having a hard time finding my pace since I couldn’t really run with all the people bumping into me and everything. For your information, I am not a runner. I am just a self proclaimed runner. There’s a difference. Haha. I just love running. It’s kinda become my stress reliever along with baking and cooking.

The run was tiring. It was still dark out and sometimes we ran in the dark when there was no streetlight in the area. I was so proud of myself for running 4 kilometers straight before stopping to walk around 500 meters. I was starting to lose body heat because I was getting goosebumps from the cold I was feeling. After my little walk, I decided to get back to running again but the energy that I had was lost and I was on a walk-run-walk-run kind of thing. But nevertheless, I ended being on the Top 10 student women runners specifically, the 4th placer. Such an achievement for me! No one would have seen that coming. Who knew that I could run six kilometers in 39 minutes. Right?

That was probably it. We really did nothing together after the funrun. Oh and my not so crush took this picture. Hahahhahahhahha. Okay. I shouldn’t have typed that because he might actually see this post but anyway, yolo right. I might just erase that bit in the future if ever life gets tricky.

My life is probably best explained with this picture. Just Kidding. But some of you might actually know my weightloss journey already since I have been posting about that for the past couple of months. This is another before and after of me from last year’s University Run to this year’s. From a funrun loser to placing 4th in the 6kilometer student category women, who would have thought that I of all people would land that spot? I guess nothing really is impossible that’s why I always believe in something better or in something big. I owe everything to running though. If I hadn’t fell in love with running, I wouldn’t have lost 50 pounds and that’s a lot. You can’t just lose that much with one to two sessions of Zumba. Diet plus exercise is the key to a successful weightloss! But please be reminded that great things come with great consequences. If you have big boobs, expect them to shrink. Your feet will shrink too. I didn’t even know that it was possible but It actually is. I am now a size 8 from a size 9. Oopsie. But srsly though, be prepared physically and mentally. You have to set your goal and stand by it till the end. You have to make a choice in order to achieve what you want to achieve.

I have changed a lot both on the physical aspect and on the mental aspect. I am now more confident than before and I actually fit on to clothes that I never knew could fit me. I used to be a plus size in Forever21 and now I wear a small. I used to wear a size 34 jeans and now I’m down to 28-29. Still not impressed? I used to weigh 80 kilos and now I weigh around 55. You don’t need liposuction or weightloss pills to burn those fats. I didn’t use any of them. You just have to sacrifice a lot of things like bacon, ice cream and pizza. Always know that when you get to the end of it all, you’ll feel victorious and happy. I have been eating a LOT for the past few days and I know it’s okay since it’s my reward for being able to endure all those months of unsatisfied cravings and whatnots.

So this is what I have to say about the topic on weightloss and wellness and health or whatever. I know you shouldn’t be listening to advice from a student like me but I just want to voice out my sentiments. Random fact: Sometimes I miss my fat self. I used to worry less about how I look. I remember my cousins telling me that I was super fat and I’d be like 'and so?' But we all know deep inside that we want to start losing weight but we are just too embarrassed to admit that fact because well, it might not work out right? I felt all of those emotions and it didn’t feel good. Don’t be ashamed to try. Don’t let peer pressure hold you back. Always know that nothing is impossible! Believe. Work. Achieve.
